Protecting Every Child : Ending Violence, Building Hope



The 2024 national children’s month celebration brings attention to the urgent and concerning issues of violence against children living in the Philippines. Every year, various forms of abuse including physical abuse, emotional abuse and sexual abuse is experienced by thousands of children. This national children’s month serves as an awareness, not only to call attention from the whole world but also to actively practice ways in preventing such violence done on children. It highlights the need for a more powerful and comprehensive approach to strengthen the protection of children.



            Ending the continuous violence on children requires the full support and help of one another including the government. This step is needed in addressing such violence done on children whether in their own home or outside. The root of such wrong doings on children are poverty, lack of access on education and normalized cultural attitudes etc. . By knowing the factors that causes and contribute to child violence, the nation and the people can make a significant way and progress of reducing its occurrence. Ensuring that the children are not only protected but also empowered by wisdom to lead a safe future.




            To come to the conclusion, the 2024 national children’s month celebration calls for an action in protecting and building hope for children who experienced and are experiencing various kind of violence. Beyond taking the stand of protecting the children, we are not only spreading awareness but also shaping our future. Helping the youth will result to a better future with wisdom.
